Four moves, no fluff

Every engagement follows the same core rhythm. We keep it simple because clarity is the point.

Diagnostic deep-dive

We spend 90 minutes pulling apart your finances, team structure, and market position. You leave with a one-page snapshot of the three things actually holding your business back. Most clients say this session alone is worth the price of the first month.

Quarterly blueprint

Together we draft a 90-day plan with no more than five priorities. Each priority gets a measurable outcome and a weekly check-in cadence. We deliberately keep the list short so nothing important gets buried under busywork.

Weekly momentum calls

Thirty-minute video calls every week. We review what moved, what stalled, and what needs a different approach. These calls are direct. Expect honest questions, not cheerleading.

Quarterly review and reset

At the end of each quarter we measure results against the blueprint, celebrate real progress, and build the next 90-day cycle. Clients typically stay for two to four quarters before they feel ready to fly solo.

What we actually coach

We focus on the problems that cost founders money or sleep. Here are the areas where we spend most of our time.

Revenue and pricing strategy

Most small businesses under-price by 15–30%. We audit your pricing model, test new tiers, and build a revenue forecast you can trust. One client, a SaaS founder in Manchester, raised average deal size by 42% in eight weeks just by restructuring her proposal format.

Hiring and team design

Bringing on employee number three or four is where many founders stumble. We help you write role briefs that attract the right people, design interview scorecards, and build a 30-60-90 onboarding plan so new hires contribute fast instead of draining your time.

Cash-flow management

We build a rolling 13-week cash-flow model with you. You will know exactly when money gets tight and what levers to pull before it becomes a crisis. This single tool has saved at least a dozen of our clients from unnecessary borrowing.

Operational systems

If your business depends on you remembering everything, it is fragile. We document your core processes, choose the right tools (we are partial to simple ones), and set up dashboards so you can spot problems before customers do.

Founder mindset and energy

Burnout is not a badge of honour. We work on decision fatigue, boundary setting, and the habit of saying yes to everything. Two sessions on this topic often free up five or more hours a week.

From frantic to focused in five months

When Priya came to us, her digital design studio was turning over £380k a year but she was working 70-hour weeks and barely paying herself. Scope creep on client projects was eating margins alive.

We restructured her service packages from hourly billing to fixed-scope sprints, introduced a client intake questionnaire that filtered out poor-fit leads, and built a capacity planner so she could see utilisation rates at a glance.

Five months in, revenue was up 28% and I was finishing work by six most days. The capacity planner alone changed how I think about taking on new projects.

Priya M., founder of a 4-person design studio in Leeds

Results like these are typical when a founder commits to the weekly rhythm and does the homework between calls. Not every engagement produces a 28% revenue jump, but the operational improvements tend to show up within the first quarter.

Common questions

Our standard engagement is £1,200 per month, billed quarterly. That covers the diagnostic, the quarterly blueprint, and weekly 30-minute calls. If you need ad-hoc support between calls, we offer an async messaging add-on for £300 per month. We do not lock anyone into annual contracts.

We work best with founders and owner-operators running businesses between £150k and £5M in annual revenue. Smaller than that and you probably need a mentor, not a coach. Larger than that and you likely need a fractional COO or CFO, which is a different service.

All weekly calls happen over Zoom. The initial diagnostic can be done in person if you are within reasonable travel distance of our Aufderharfield office. About a third of our clients have never met us face to face and the results are identical.

We review progress at the end of every quarter. If neither of us can point to concrete improvements, we will part ways and you will not be billed for the next cycle. This has happened twice in six years, and both times the founder later said the diagnostic alone had been valuable.

Our lead coach has built, scaled, and exited two businesses in the professional services space. She spent four years as a strategy consultant at a mid-tier firm before deciding she preferred working with founders directly. You will not be handed off to a junior associate.
